Beaumont Upsets Jessie Clark for 'A' Volleyball Championship

In the middle school volleyball tournament, third-seeded Beaumont knocked off No. 1 Jessie Clark 2-1 for the “A” league championship. Beaumont, coached by Lee Davis, closed the season with an 11-2 record.

“Beaumont's ‘A’ team this year was made up of the 15 most driven, most focused, most coachable, most fun kids I have ever coached,” Davis said. “All 15 of them truly banded together and pushed each other to be the best they could be.”  

The eighth-grade team included Kathryn Alexander, Sloane Barnes, Noelle Davis, Georgia Faulkner, Mackenzie Hansen, Ava Hautau, Lydia Krusich, Ava Martha, Julia Mazza, Elisabeth Otipoby, Stella Patton, Lainey Quenon, Katie Rush, Anna Ryzowicz, and Ellis Stuart (grade 7).
