Denis Beall was born and raised in Lexington and graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1998. He attended the University of Kentucky and earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in Secondary Education - Math Education. From there, Beall moved to Oldham County to be a math teacher and soccer coach at South Oldham High School. After eight years in the classroom, he spent four years as a guidance counselor at Martha Layne Collins High School and South Oldham High School. Beall transitioned to being an associate principal at South Oldham High School for three years, and then came to Beaumont Middle School in the fall of 2017. His wife, Amy, is an elementary school teacher and they have one daughter, Lilly.
